While I believe that Sarah Palin (aka Dolores Umbridge) is going to prove to be a disastrous VP pick in the long run, it's hard to deny that her nomination was successful in knocking Barack's convention speech right out of the media. Who can blame the media? Between the WTF?-factor, the scandals, the murky personal life, the extremist views, the church lady-esque voice, what's not to obsess over?
But let's take a moment and step away from the Palin feeding frenzy. It's going to continue, and it's going to get worse (IE better for us :). But right now, I invite you to spend 10 minutes with me getting pumped up for the fight to come by revisiting the best moments from Barack's verbal beatdown of John McCain in Denver.
Follow me over the fold.
Obama gave the most inspiring political speech of many of our lifetimes at the DNC. But it also contained nearly 10 minutes of withering attacks on John McCain's record, judgement, and temperment.
Barack is a fighter. And he is on the right side of history. AND he sounds great with heavy metal (Metallica's "Orion" in this instance).
We are going to win. Donate NOW and continue the FIGHT!
