It only seems like last week when the McCain camp was promising the American people that they would nominate a candidate for Vice-President who would be ready to serve as President on Day One.
Here we are now on Day Eight (and counting) of Palin Drone, and it appears that every McCain supporter, save one, has been sustaining a full-scale media offensive designed to deflect any inquiry into the qualifications of McCain's first big appointment. We have heard the droning surrogates, but Palin herself has said nothing except at scripted, controlled events.
Evey talking head and pundit should demand that Palin answer questions. The simple inquiry that each surrogate should face is this:
"What does it say about the McCain campaign's confidence in Sarah Palin's readiness to serve when they trust you to answer my questions, but do not trust her to do so?"
