I am a Christian, not an idiot.  I put my faith in Christ, but I am capable a recognizing a fraud when I see one.  McPalin continues to refer to Obama's lack of a record -- ok - let's look at the record -- she was for the bridge to nowhere, kept the money, lied about it.  Sold the plane on ebay for profit?  Nope, sold it to a private enterprise at a loss.  Again lying about it.  Stating you're against earmarks and then being the person who got the most earmarks per capita for her state (with an Abramoff lobbyist no less)? This is some record! And how dare they now start to talk about CHANGE??!!?!!

Look, I am a born again Christian who believes that Jesus died, rose again and is coming back.   But I also believe that I don't have the right to shove it down your throat. One of the reasons I love this country is precisely for that reason - everyone has the right to believe as they choose. It would be wonderful if we could respect each other's views, but I will settle for the law of the land that ensures that freedom of religion to everyone.
I just wish the republicans would quit lying (in the name of God no less) and be intellectually honest with us - We are in a hot bowl of crap as a nation. And the people running this show, and hawking McPalin put us here.  They've denied this nation's economic crisis for years, told us we're whining as we lose our jobs and watch our 401ks dissolve into nothingness and at the last minute drag in Moose Mama from off the North Slope to shout Jesus and Babies (doesn't that make you feel better as your car is being repossessed and your neighbor just lost their house - she has a special needs child! Phew! Everything's gonna be all right now! She can field dress a moose! I feel so much better about my health insurance not covering my prescription meds!)
ENOUGH!  ENOUGH!  I want thinking, smart people in the White House!  I am so thoroughly insulted, by the spectacle that is Sarah Palin! I get angry every time I see her! What country am I living in? She barely cobbled together a college degree and is spewing out insults and venom?  Does she praise the Lord with that mean mouth?  Not that it matters, but Obama is a fellow Christian - your brother in Christ! Sarah, you ought to spend some more time in your prayer closet - you will need to make the time for it in between your "learn everthing about the economy/foreign policy" cram sessions so you can answer simple basic questions that yes, oh yes (Nicole Wallace) the people care about. That, and finding the time to lovingly be there for your husband and 5 children (placed fittingly last).

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
