Let's help the McCain/Palin Lie Express out: Every time they appear and repeat the Bridge to Nowhere Lie (seven times last I looked), we count the lie and publicize it. Blogs, letters to the editor, email the trad-med, etc.

Is anyone tracking the campaign stops for McLame? Obama needs to have a few reps AT EVERY STOP, yelling out "Eight!" "Nine!" "That's a lie!"

Simply so that the brief correction may end up on television. How do they mislead the American people? Let me count the lies! It will be the "Count the lies" squad.

Begala used the "pants on fire" line of which I'm so fond in his latest commentary on the media lapdogs. He points out that if McSame/Palin said the moon was made of green cheese, and Obama/Biden said that's not true, the moon is a rock, the trad. media would report, "Candidates clash on lunar composition." That's the true sorry state of reporting in this country, and the only reason this race is so close, IMO.

"TEN!"  Liar liar liar!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?

(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?

just like they say in every climate change story that there are "two sides" and recently every story about the supercollider in Europe has the tag line "Skeptics worry about black holes" even though every scientist who has studied this says it is not an issue

  •  McCain counterploy (0+ / 0-)

McCain has a "truth squad" whose main objective is to find any remarks concerning Princess Sarah, and to destroy all evidence, or mangle it beyond recognition, or bury it under a finely spun web. These people feel no shame, have no honor. They will do anything to keep their jobs and cushy rewards. So you will have to run hard in order to keep up with them.

all the 'pork' that is directed towards Alaska? Hasn't Ms. Palin seen any of these?

Sen. Stevens (R-AK) has Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education earmarks totalling $86,575,000

May your entire existence be one sensuous, frolic-filled experience lived in defiance of care.
