This is a live thread of Charlie Gibson's Sarah Putin interview on ABC (per the request of Kossacks in this rec'd diary)
To sum:
- She has no clue what the Bush doctrine is
- She full-throated endorses the Obama doctrine (the one that McCain scoffed as naive)
- She is a TERRIBLE BULLSHITTER.
Oh, and she would go to war with Russia, a highly-armed nuclear power, in the VERY LIKELY event they attacked Georgia (again).
Discuss....
Someone in the comments requested I update the diary with some notable comments, so here are the highlights:

she is a nutjob, worse than Bush. (14+ / 0-)
Mccain just lost the election and I am still in a state of shock.
I for one can't see NATO going to war over Georgia.
There is an election in Canada here, and this might even come up as an issue.
She is actually worse than Bush.

AWESOME.
The best part is how confused Charlie is that she has no idea what it mean.
Yes, Santa Claus, there is a Virginia. And it's going Democratic.

Another mistake she made (1+ / 0-)
"GIBSON: Because Putin has said he would not tolerate NATO incursion into the Caucasus.
PALIN: Well, you know, the Rose Revolution, the Orange Revolution, those actions have showed us that those democratic nations, I believe, deserve to be in NATO."
Well, I have news for you Palin. Yes, the Rose-revolution correct in Georgia, Georgia is in Caucasus. The Orange-revolution? In Ukraine. Is Ukraine in Caucasus... NO
Caucasus is: Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, northern part of Turkey and Southern part of Russia. Ukraine is on the other side of "the Black Sea". Not a huge gaffe, but it just shows us that she doesn`t know much about these issues.
