George W. Bush's Dow Jones chart.
The week of January 22, 2001, the first of Bush's presidency, the Dow averaged 10,659. Today, it closed at 10,917. In just about eight years of Bush, the market has gained less than 300 points. And given we're in the midst of yet another metldown, that "ownership class" Republicans love to brag about really haven't had much to cheer during Bush's term.
If they want more of this, then I suppose McCain would do just fantastic.
