In the latest poll by the American Research Group (Manchester NH), Obama trounces McCain in, okay, well, Hawai’i.
But I thought we should have some really good news, so from the home of our native son, Senator Barack Obama, a survey released today in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin shows Obama leading McCain 63%-32% in Hawai’i. Only in DC does Obama do better, leading McCain among likely DC voters: 82% - 13%.
The demographic polling breakdown in Hawai’i shows Obama leads:
Men: 60 - 35 percent
Women: 65 - 29 percent
voters under age 50: 60 - 35 percent
voters age 50 and older: 66 – 28 percent
Independents: 73 - 20 percent
Republican voters: 5 – 90 percent.
Democratic voters: 84 – 11 percent
The poll was of 600 likely voters conducted September 7-12 with a margin of error of 4%.
Imua Obama!
