Thanks to the power of new technology, I'm putting the Idaho Senate race in the people's hands again tonight.
Beginning at 9pm ET tonight, Independent Rex Rammell, Libertarian Kent Marmon, and single issue candidate "Pro-Life" formerly known as Marvin Richardson will be joining me for the third online debate in the race for U.S. Senate here in Idaho -- and once again, we'll be broadcasting the debate on the internet and taking questions live from folks like you watching it online, right here at DailyKos and across the internet.
Tonight's forum uses the power of technology to put the debate in your hands. So please, join us below the fold to watch the debate and ask your questions in real-time starting at 9pm ET!
UPDATE: 9/24, 8:20PM Thanks for joining tonight's debate! You can still tune in to see a replay below the fold. I really appreciate your support and participation and look forward to more dialog in the coming weeks. -LL
I have invited my Republican opponent, Jim Risch, to join us tonight as well, and I certainly hope he'll participate -- though given Risch's track record of avoiding campaigning and ducking debates, I doubt he'll appear. But most importantly, by holding this third online debate, you'll be able to participate directly as well.
By tuning in tonight, you'll not only have a chance to hear me speak candidly about my beliefs, but also you'll have a chance to ask your own questions -- in real-time. It's just one more way that I'm using the power of technology to reach out to Idaho voters and put this election in your hands. This is your race as much as it is mine, and I want to make sure that you get answers to the questions that matter.
Hopefully Jim Risch will start acting like a serious candidate and face the voters of Idaho by joining us for these debates. Regardless, Rex, Kent, Pro-Life and I are ready and willing to face the public and talk about our beliefs
So enjoy tonight's debate -- and make sure to ask your questions! I hope we can answer as many as possible during our live, online forum. Thanks!
