I'm preparing a viral email about Palin's Couric interview. Part of the email will include a link to an advanced poll with a series of statements about Sarah Palin. See links and precise action points after the fold.

The video of the Palin/Couric interview must go viral by any means. I already have prepared an email that I am about to send to a list of friends. If you want to receive a copy of this email to help make it go viral, please contact me here. Put: "Sarah Palin viral email" in the subject line.

Also, I am preparing a special poll (a kind that cannot be created here) to go along with the email. The poll will be hosted here: How would you best describe Sarah Palin?

Here is what I need. I need some good possible answers, positive, neutral and negative ones. Since I must go away now, and I'll send the email before going, it would be better if you could register and add the best answers among the proposed ones so that people can vote on them straight away.

Disclaimer: I manage the site with the poll. The site has very advanced polling features (Approval voting, Score voting, Plurality voting, etc.) and is designed to allow consensus building: users can add better answers than the existing ones while the poll is ongoing. Anonymous visitors can vote in the poll above and in most polls, but registered members can update their votes any time. You can also create any poll you want with the previously mentioned advanced features for anybody to vote in.

I'd be very surprised if this diary made the rec list (not that it should). I'd appreciate your help in getting it rescued somehow to help with the viral aspect of the email.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.
Rescue this diary, and add a note:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from Rescue?
Choose where to republish this diary. The diary will be added to the queue for that group. Publish it from the queue to make it appear.

You must be a member of a group to use this feature.

Add a quick update to your diary without changing the diary itself:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary?
(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?

When do we get to the place where all the energy we are spending on telling the "Sarah Palin is a joke" or the "Sarah Palin has no soul" or the "Sarah Palin is dangerous" story...stops being productive for the Obama Campaign?

I am wondering - in my informal polling of people I know to be conservative or independent, I have found broad consensus (except among my evangelical acquaintences) that most people think she was a terrible pick for VP and many, many people are deeply concerned about her ability to step in and be POTUS.

I think we have to be mindful of the amount of mindshare we get to frame issues for the Electorate and too much of Sarah Palin might work against us.

    That's just my opinion,

      and I see your point.

Believe me: I have NOT been part of the hordes of people who have commented and diaried on Palin over the last few weeks.

But this interview just just blew my head off. and I couldn't resist.

Sorry. I usually try to promote the positive aspect of the campaign. Really.
