Well, I just got an introduction to the Colorado race by watching (Former) Congressman Bob Schaffer and Congressman Mark Udall. My general reaction was that Schaffer came off very badly. Seemingly hyped up on caffeine or adrenalin to the point where he was overbearing and overtly aggressive. He almost couldn't get his points out before he was trying to say the next one. His desperation was almost palpable. Over the fold.
In contrast, Udall seemed composed...almost too composed. While I would have liked to see him get back in Schaffer's face a little more, overall, I thought he presented himself well. He made his points, and based on the (over)reaction he got out of Schaffer, he seemed to be hitting some seriously exposed nerves.
Even though I live far away from Colorado, and haven't paid any attention to this race (literally zero attention), I just looked up Udall's ActBlue page and made a donation.
If someone else can post the video of the Meet The Press 'debate' between these two guys, that would be great. And after watching, I hope that anyone who is disgusted by the attitude and behavior of Schaffer will also go to ActBlue and make a donation to help Udall kick that guys ass.
