Hi All! So while the McSnooze campaign was on vacation/regrouping/thinking of new ways to smear Obama this weekend, our candidates, their wives, and Hillary Clinton were out on the trail, and I'd say they had a pretty good weekend.
It all started in North Carolina where approximately 18,000 people greeted Senators Obama and Biden:
For those of you who wanted to see Obama with more fire, there it is! He went after McCain in ways people wish he'd done in the debate. Looking back, I think we can all pretty much agree that Obama did what he needed to do in the debates, and now he's doing what he needs to do on the stump. I really think Obama is even MORE fired up when Joe is around. He really is the fire to Obama's ice. Click here for full Transcript of his NC remarks as prepared.

Then it was off to Virginia where Senators Obama and Biden were greeted with rain and about 26,000 people. But our ticket can clearly take a little water, and so can our supporters! People stood out there in the rain, without umbrellas, to hear these guys. That's dedication. I even saw some Black women there (and we usually don't deal with getting our hair wet unless we are washing it) (LOL)
Pics from VA:
Michelle Obama and Jill Biden (the new Dynamic Duo) went to Tallahassee, Florida to get people to register and participate in voter registration drives:
Then Senator Obama headed off to the Congressional Black Caucus to receive an award and give a truly inspiring speech (I'm looking to see if the prepared remarks are anywhere):
CBC Pics:
Then both couples headed to Detroit where EVERYONE was fired up and ready to go. Unfortunately Michelle and Jill didn't speak (Barack said Michelle decided she just wanted to "sit there and look cute" the crowd was really disappointed when they found out she wouldn't be speaking. But I did learn that apparently in his house Barack ranks as the 3rd most influential (behind Michelle and Malia because Sasha does whatever Malia does ~lol~), but he may be 4th because Sasha may have moved past him at this point. It was a really cute moment. I haven't found Barack's speech yet, but here's Joe Biden's (and his speech was AWESOME). Click here to read full transcript of Barack's prepared remarks:
Here's a small part of Obama's speech:

If you can only listen to one full speech, listen to that VA speech, or the CBC speech both are awesome, but the ad libbing Obama did in VA is AMAZING. Trust me, you'll wish you'd been there in person, rain and all. . .
