It's tough times in America now guys. But Obama is not letting up.
Over the weekend in Maryland, Virginia and Detroit, Obama has taken a hardline, populist approach ("McCain had a Katrina-like reaction to the financial crisis, by standing on the sideline" was golden)towards McCain and the GOP.
Well. He just came out with a new CEO pay ad. This ads looks to fine tune the publics outrage over Executive Pay (especially in light of the pending Wall Street Bail out)and the financial meltdown.
In this ad, Obama goes right after McCain advisor, and former disgraced Hewlett Packard CEO, Carly Fiorina (albeit weeks later).
Though Obama waited several weeks. I think this ad is fine, Because at this stage (with Obama surging), the goal is to reinforce more doubts (and lack of trust with McCain). He doesn't have to hit him hard on this. The NY Times, etc., already has. We just need to reinforce it.
Keep it up Obama.

Here's the video below.
There's no text of the ad (as of this writing). But here's the rough transcript:
Last week another bank went under, but it's CEO can walk away with millions. John McCain's CEO, Carly Fiorina, the fired CEO, that walked away with $42million. Barack Obama says it's got to change, demanding that any wall stree bailout, limits CEO pay.
You've got corporate Executives, who are giving themselves million dollar Golden Parachutes, and leaving workers high and dry. That's wrong! That's and outrage, "I'm Barack Obama and I support this messagee.
Keep hitting McCain and his corrupt advisors and campaign Senator Obama. Every bit counts.
Various new surveys, have already confirmed that your most trusted and liked with economics (and in general) vs McCAin and the financial bailout,. So please take that good capitol, and keep slapping McCain silly on the economy and his hypocrisy!
Here's the latest Gallup Survey (published today) on the publics reaction to politicians and the bailout:
PRINCETON, NJ -- A USA Today/Gallup poll conducted Friday and Saturday finds more Americans disapproving than approving of how most of the major national political players have handled the recent problems on Wall Street. Only Barack Obama squeaks by with more Americans approving than disapproving of his performance on the issue, 46% to 43%.
When Gallup digs deeper into their numbers, they reveal even more positives results for Obama:
The higher scores of Obama and the Democrats in Congress relative to McCain and the Republicans in Congress are mainly owing to differences in intraparty support for each side.
Nearly 8 in 10 Democrats approve of the way Obama has responded to the Wall Street crisis, compared with only 7 in 10 Republicans approving of McCain.
Similarly, 65% of Democrats approve of the Democratic leaders in Congress, in contrast to 55% of Republicans approving of the Republican leaders in Congress.
See Democrats on a whole (and remember there are more of us) feel that Obama had done a better job with the Wall St Crisis, than McCain's own party.
Now. No one really wants to support this bill. But we let Bush and the Republicans get us into this mess, that we now can't get out, with out an monetary infusion into the financial systmem. But it doesn' mean, that Obama can't tell the American people who's responsible and why he's going to sign the bill (if he is), and what it means to America and a Obama Administration.

There's more interesting data in the new Gallup (as well as others) poll.
Here is a new DNC ad going after Team McCain gambling ties (courtesy of Kossack, Bush Bites). Thanks:
I like the DNC, gambling ad. It's darker than most Obama ads. But that's good, cause it's a DNC ad. It should scare some American's about McCain's scary bunch of advisors and lobbyist.
The bottom line is, McCain is floundering, And it would be nice to keep a bad man down, when he's down (McCain).
