In the course of human events....
And the talk of a little revolution...
that said... to those of you singing the praises of the glorious revolution and class warfare... YOU ARE RIGHT.. so what are you planning to do about it?
I've asked... and all I get are platitudes of how we need to do this, or that... fight the clowns, fight the rich, eat the rich....but I have yet to see something concrete... like oh a national strike... demonstrating in front of federal officers, and going the extra mile... I have yet to hear that... why... typing on a keyboard is great. I've said this before, we have plenty of keyboard commandos, on all sides... well we the people didn't get to those changes by just talking a little revolution... at one time or another we had to take to the streets.
All I see is the talk of revoltuon. It makes you feel good... but that's it.
Here is a free hint to all of you... they are organized... you're not... and you seem happy to not be organized.
Here is another huge hint, they have been able to do things that in the short term make them uncomfortable... you're not
This is the problem
You want that glorious revolution? Here is another huge hint... you need to ORGANIZE, be willing to suffer a little, or even get yourself killed
Oh and ideology is not enough
Oh and one last thing... your hate to those with a little education that have TRIED to 'splain things to you knows no bounds... and it is starting to be a little scary, as in Cultural Revolution scary. The saving grace is... you keep talking revolution not doing it...
It is also amazing how you talk of the class warfare but you are incurious as to how it was done EFFECTIVELY in the past. Hell, I've heard all kinds of excuses including but, but the media will not cover it. What, you think the Wall Street Journal covered the Labor strikes of the 1910s, 1920s, and 1930s? NO... for the most part the NYT didn't either, or the Chicago Tribune. That is what the Labor presses were for.... read this again... :LABOR PRESSES, read this as alternate media.
Most of you also think that this is going to happen when the people are so fed up... well something is going to happen... but lack of organization will make that something so easy to put down it is not even funny. Your counterparts in the past marched against billy clubs and even rubber hoses as well as water hoses... they also marched against mercs (The mines of virginia were a nice place for that). The difference is they were ORGANIZED.
Then we hear the but this has divided those with us and those with the bosses... not really... but that sounds good. What this has proven is just now much people are willing to talk a little revolution but really not take the next step. It has also shown just how deeply incurious the American Left (an oxymoron if I ever read one) is. In fact, just as incurious as their counterparts across the inter-webs. Sadly... this lack of curiosity is not a matter of the left or the right, but the American people. We have the most incredible data gathering resource in the history of humanity.... yet people are even less informed. And it is not just about the "news" but also about history, politics, how their government works... you basic things like that... or science
Hell... we do live in a magical world. I doubt most on this board or others actually understand HOW you get light when you flip the switch... let alone how your money gets from point A to point B in the economy... that has been proven... or the history of credit in the western world. Free hint, it is not a republican invention... but a TEMPLAR invention and been around for hundreds of years... in fact LONGER than the Americas been part of European consciousness.
Then we have the ignoramus going lets ban all classes of jobs like oh Cops... I know cops are despised... but you know what happens when you have a country with no law enforcement? In your libertarian dream you may want to book a tour of Somalia... because that is what happens.
Now I am sure some will say I am an enemy of the people, never mind this is a working class family, blue collar in fact. But I have that leisurely time to find out things (never mind most of that happened while in college decades ago... the bulk of the readying that is), therefore I am at home eating pom-poms and clipping coupons (Brownie points if you can identify WHERE that reference comes from)... that is envy... the kind of envy that led to the Cultural Revolution...
Anyhow... why we got us into this hole because of ideology... and here is the last free hint on this... back in the 1930s ideology was not what us out of the hole.. but doing what needed to be done. That includes the working class taking to the streets. I'll be here, watching the talk of a little revolution continue unabated... oh and the early bills back then, were not popular either.
And for those who tell me that the people were right about the Iraq war... check your stats... be curious... but most of the people were for war when the shooting started... chew on that.
