But pretty close. The pack mentality and flailing hostility by the majority here against people pointing out that while the reworked rescue plan was far from perfect, its failure is again risking full economic collapse. As RenaRF's lucid and important diary correctly points out, this isn't about saving "fat cats" on Wall Street, but rather having to do some unsavory things in rescuing our economy from full collapse even if we spend months (we don't have) crafting the past progressive plan possible.
The attitudes around here by most, and the boiling over rage by far too many here, underscores not just how wrong and ignorant too many of my fellow liberals are about the basics of how our economy works, but how Daily Kos has ceased to be the community it once was.
Again, this is not a GBCW in the sense that I am leaving permanently or in a huff, or demanding that Kos 'delete my fucking account right now'... but it does make me sad. So perhaps it's just au revoir form this UID 713 Kossack, BUt after the years I have invested in arguing, discussing, laughing, learning with what I thought were brothers and sisters, it is a real let down today to realize, that this place has been so degraded that said investment only throws into sharp relief, and ironically given the precipice in our finical and economic well being teeters on, no longer seems worth it.
