Reverend Mike Huckabee: Who Would Jesus Bomb?

Des Moines Catholic Worker community asks U.S. Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" at his Des Moines campaingn office days before the Iowa caucus. Huckabee did not respond.

Kathy Kelly who was in Iraq during the 1991 U.S. bombardment & 2003
invasion and in the '90's co-founded the genocidal sanctions busting "Voices
in the Wilderness" movement was arrested with two others posing the question
to Rev. Huckabee "Who Would Jesus Bomb?"

    about the commericals he wasn't airing because he didn't want to go negative. And then showed it to the Press. What a piece of work he is.

  •  Huckabee satisfies two interests: (0+ / 0-)

    One, he's the darling of the Wall Street crowd that doesn't have offices on Wall Street--probably the same people who rotate around the World Trade Center in St. Louis and don't miss the towers in lower Manhattan at all.

    Secondly, he appeals to all those people who are convinced that there's a natural hierarchy of superior and inferior folk and consider themselves to be of the former.  They like to pretend that they are subservient to the Lord, but He's simply their justification for lording it over other people.

    Huckabee assures both groups that they're right and his words are pleasing to their ears.

    To be honest, Huckabee's speaking voice is the best thing about him.

    How do you tell a predator from a protector? The predator will eat you sooner rather than later.

    "chosen ones".  By virtue of their "personal" relationship with Jesus Christ, they have a very special telephone line directly with God.  Wow - what an arrangement!
