I Like Democrats

Seems like everyday we show up and fight over this Democratic candidate or that candidate.  I'd just like to say, that come hell or high water, I'm going to be working my behind off for the nominee come this fall.  We've all seen what 8 years of Bush has looked like with false war reasons, signing statements, emergency appointments that last forever, secret prisons and a never ending effort to spy on us.  

I'll be working to stop all that in the fall.  All three fo the top candidates will make one hell of a president.  I'd be proud to walk into the booth and pull the lever for any of them.

In the end we are all Democrats and we should be proud of that.

  I'm there with you. I have decided to be completely neutral when it comes to the primary until I am faced with the actual voting machine on Feb. 5.

  Hell! Even I don't know who I'll end up voting for.

  But I can damn sure guarentee you it'll be a Democrat!

  Suppose that you back XXX and are devastated that YYY won and you can't bring yourself to back YYY.

  Then:  get involved in another race!  In Illinois, we have a D senator (Durbin) running for reelection, and a good chance to reclaim a state house seat from the Repukes.

  You'll be doing some good and if you win, you'll feel pretty good about it. :-)

  approach than the opponent bashing taking place elsewhere on this site.  We must pull together in the fall and clobber the Republicans.  I mean, really clobber them.  So they can't steal the election.  Which, in a close race, they would almost certainly do.
