Worst Match Up? Best Match Up?

Mon Jan 28, 2008 at 11:16:15 AM PDT

Was just listening to Thom Hartmann's radio program and his DC correspondent just mentioned the possibility of a McCain Bloomberg match up.  That would be a formidable team financially speaking.

I know this is a short diary and possibly not worthy of Daily Kos.  What the heck.  Here goes.

What is my dream team match up?   Barack Obama and Russ Feingold.   What's yours?

  •  I think in the (0+ / 0-)

absence of Democrats lieing over and playing dead, an Obama/(any white male) ticket would win in a landslide. As long as you guys don't lie down and play 'let's go to bed'. If you address smears forcefully and point out that McCain thinks Iraq is a good idea properly, you'd win.

On the other hand, a Clinton/Obama ticket would win as well - subject to the same condition, but I'm doubful about the majority.

But, I could be way off still. Just musing.

    with anyone, versus anyone.

I do like the rumors of Sebelius, though.

  •  I'd be delirious over Obama/Feingold... (0+ / 0-)

...plus it'd have the added bonus of breaking two barriers at once (assuming they won, of course): First black Prez, first Jewish Veep. Same principle if he went with a woman (and won), of course. Screw it, let's break all the barriers in one fell swoop...how about a Jewish Latino woman, if there are any around who would fit the bill?

Of course, as a Jew myself, it'd be quite the an eye-opener to see Obama/Feingold vs. McCain/Lieberman, especially given Joementum's party switch...the awful, unfunny "both running mates are Jewish!" jokes would write themselves, unfortunately...
