Edwards, Unions, and Two Americas

When you put all three of these together you must come to the conclusion that Hillary should be where John Edwards throws his support.

First  

The working class poor of America, those who have had experiences like John and those who just plain believe they everyone should have a fair shake, have been listening.  We hear your message and if you look at the list of Unions that John believes in.... they are supporting HRC.  The leaders of the plight of workers have studied the issues very closely and believe Hillary can get the job done.

Second

The two America's John talks about is real, and I know Obama means well, but he keeps talking about one America.....well that's nice, but it is not our current reality.  John believes we need a fighter right now, and Obama is courting, and dare I say, sending signals that make me think he won't stand up as tough....he'll blink, I fear.  Right now we can't afford to blink.  

We need someone fighting for workers, the middle class, fairness and equality, healthcare for all, to prosecute the corporate cheaters, and to get Katrina victims some fricken help,   Those who support John Edwards should now support Hillary Rodham Clinton.  If it is REALLY about the issues

P.S. The elitist group hasn't had such a great record on Presidential bids....

  on NAFTA, gave up on healthcare, and was a founding member of the DLC, which was created in part to distance the Democratic Party from organized labor. So what makes you think Hillary will be such a strong fighter for workers and labor? What makes you think she'll be any different from her husband? If she plans to be, why won't she come out and say he was wrong on NAFTA?

    she is a DLCer which has almost destroyed our party. Edwards himself said he and Obama were the agents of change. That Hillary was for lobbyist and had taken more money from the defense industry than any other candidate running rep. or dem. So he would look hypocritical if he supported her.

  thinks that Lobbiest are people too.  You are forgeting that Edwards was fighting against those people who have paid for Hillary's campaign.  Those were the people that he said we needed to fight against.

  i think that clinton is way more liberal than she appears. and obama way less, the former has actively spent the last seven years shoring up her right flank in order to run for the presidency, but she will govern like a roosevelt democrat while obama will govern like a rockefeller republican.

  but clinton is a corporatist to the core, just like obama is and i think that it is way past time to recognize that liberals are not necessarily progressive, but progessives are generally liberal.

  personally? i think that the democratic party and the american people are completely fucked.

  regardless, i would bet the rent that mccain beats either of them.
