When Should Your Candidate Quit? (Poll)

Watching Edwards supporters come to terms with his recent withdrawal from the race, and thinking back to the reaction of Dean's supporters when he quit, I decided it would be interesting to hear from Clinton and Obama supporters on this topic now, before either candidate had reached a point where they might start to consider dropping out of the race.

•  When the convention awards the nomination

  is when one of these two should quit.  

  Otherwise I'd say, well, losing your home state is a pretty good reason to quit.  Though I'm sad to see Edwards go.

  When my candidate decides it's the right time to drop out.  Not one moment sooner or later.*

  The only exception would be if their staying in the race would guarantee a horrendous outcome. Think Nader in 2000 for an example.

      I would prefer either of these two over any of the GOP frontrunners. I am just concerned that a prolonged Democratic nomination battle that divides the party could be less than helpful, esp considering that McCain will probably decide the GOP race next Tuesday. IOW: Just pick someone already. :)
