Caribou Barbie is coming to town. So we painted her some pretty pictures. The wing nuts are busing in cranks and true believers from across the state. We want to make sure that they get a nice Midwest welcome.
I think it is helpful to remember that when they empty the Mental Institutions for these republican gatherings to be on our best behavior. Most of these people are not use to being in the sunlight, so be calm , be peaceful and wave that flag, freak or otherwise. We could probably use some help in displaying some of our work. If you read this and decide to help, don't be bashful. I couldn't paste the map here but the directions are pretty simple. It is supposed to be a beautiful day for a parade
We plan on hooking up with other like minded folks, who sent us this:

We will gather – with our handheld signs and our children and our cameras and new friends – at Northmoor Park at 5 pm on Thursday, October 2.
Northmoor Park (on Big Bend just south of Forsyth) is the public location closest to the debate site. At a September 28th meeting with representatives of the Instead of War coalition, Veterans for Peace, and CODEPINK – who are rallying at the park at 5 o’clock -- the University City Police Department okayed a rally at Northmoor. St. Louis Women--and Others!--for Obama/Biden are welcome to rally there as well.
Getting there:
The MetroLink stations at Forsyth and at Forest Park Parkway and Big Bend will be open and trains running.
From the Forsyth MetroLink stop -- which is the stop closest to the park – (see attached walk map), you walk east on Forsyth, south one block on Asbury, and then east two blocks on Northmoor, about ¾ of a mile to the park.
From FPP/Big Bend, the attached map indicates the longer walk route to Northmoor. (The sidewalks north of the park on Big Bend will be CLOSED.)
.
The U-City Police anticipate that there will be some parking available on Wydown and south of Wydown. People can walk in north on Big Bend.
The pro-Palin people are coming out in force – we hear anti-abortion rights groups and fundamentalists are being bused in. They hope to fill the Chaifetz arena! Let’s show them what we think in the Show-Me State!!!
Hot off the press, I can still smell the fresh paint. I love the smell of fresh paint in the morning... It smells like Victory.
Earlier this year at Kiener Plaza. The domed building in the background is the Old Courthouse, home of the Dred Scott case and the place where slaves were sold..
"Orange Sicle Obama"
And as always we will have our canidate there
