Short diary tonight. Here's the reason why I support Obama on this. This man has never, ever, rushes anything. If its one thing that we have learned about him is that he is prudent and steady in everything that he does. So to see his reaction (emotionally) about passing this bill had me concerned-real concerned.
Yeah. I know some of you are nit-picking the bill. But lets be real, many of us on here are NOT economists. And for every economist that agrees with the bill there are another three that dont and for the three that dont there are six that do.
The point is, this whole thing is so confusing that there really is NO true answer. So when that takes place, you look at people you trust and hear them out. Thats what I did with Obama.
Obama has said this bailout sucked. But he saw something about to happen that made him push this through. Folks this wasnt just politics. If it was rhetoric the speech he gave would have been emotionless. When I heard him speak, I heard an urgency that I had not heard before. Almost scary.
So maybe his instinct told him that this credit collapse was real. I mean lets get past all of the crap. If we would have had a dominoe effect of banks collapsing what would this have done to our credit markets? Did you really want to risk that?
I dont. Like Obama said, this bill sucks but he saw something coming down the road. Something bad. I trust this man. No I dont agree with him on everything. But I trust his leadership. I trust his gut.
So everyone that is mad. Its all good. But me I trust my Brother.
