Jerome Corsi, vile swiftboater extraordinaire and author of hit piece The Obama Nation traveled to Kenya to launch his book.
He was promptly arrested by Kenyan immigration officials and deported.
Jerome Corsi arrived at a downtown Nairobi hotel to present his book "The Obama Nation".
But he was whisked away by immigration officials and later driven to the airport by police, witnesses said. "It happened so fast, they just vanished with him," a hotel worker told Reuters.
You remember Jerome Corsi from the 2004 Presidential Election. This man, with the help of John O'Neill, released Unfit for Command, in conjunction with Swift Boat Veterans Full of Shit for Truth ads, to smear John Kerry.
Corsi's newest piece of trash tries to bring into question Obama's very open, past drug use to insinuate he is still under the influence. He also insinuates that Obama is a closeted Muslim (oh, the horror!) and that he has "deep secret ties" to mafia-like groups in Kenya.
Corsi's intent in traveling to Kenya was to find Barack Obama's brother George, apparently living in a Nairobi slum on $1 a month. George has been used by rightwingers to smear Obama as having some sort of double-standards. Corsi intended to hand George Obama a check for $1000, most likely in some hideous photo op.
Maybe George Obama would've declined the check. He seems happy.
"I was brought up well. I live well even now," he said. "The magazines, they have exaggerated everything.

So Jerome Corsi won't get his photo-op. The Kenyan government says Jerome Corsi did not have a work permit.
FWIW, a September poll found 82% of Kenyans want Barack Obama to win the US Presidential election.
One Obama fan in Nairobi, Jack Okinyi, applauded Corsi's expulsion. "His actions were highly provocative, that he dared bring such a book here. He was lucky that the authorities got him before Kenyans got their hands on him," he said.
