From CNN:
"First Dude" Todd Palin has agreed to answer questions about the firing of Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan from the Alaska Legislative Investigation. The questions, submitted to Palin on Monday, will be answered in writing, rather than in person....with the answers expected to be returned by Wednesday.
As most of us know, the report on the investigation was expected to be released this Friday, but a flurry of activity might change the release date. Within the past few days, 7 employees, who previously refused to comply with the subpoenas, have now changed their minds and will answer Branchflower's questions into Gov. Palin's alleged abuse of power.
This change in direction appears to have been initiated after the Alaska Superior court Judge Peter Michalski said the state's Legislative body was perfectly within their authority to conduct an investigation into the matter.
