John McCain said at the debate yesterday, as he has said before, that he has some sort of secret plan to capture Bin Laden.
Obama should call him on it. He should say :"Senator McCain says he has this great plan to capture Osama bin Laden, and he has been saying it for several months now. Okay, he says he can't tell us what it is, because it is secret, should be classified or something. Perhaps he could tell us whether he has revealed this plan to our current President, George W. Bush. They are members of the same party, McCain campaigned for the guy, so certainly President Bush would take Senator McCain's calls.
Is Senator McCain saying that he has told the President his great plan, but Bush didn't think it was such a great plan and chose not to implement it? Or is he keeping this plan from the President?
Or has he refused to tell President Bush this great plan because he is not putting his country first? Certainly, capturing bin Laden is important, and if Senator McCain has such a great plan here, I would prefer he would tell it to our President rather than tell us he has one, but can't tell us what it is. That is, if there really is such a plan."
