On Larry King tonight, Michelle Obama discussed Cindy's recent, classless display. Larry King asked her about Cindy's insane projection that Obama is "running the dirtiest campaign in history."
Michelle, of course, responded with the utmost class to Cindy's mud-slinging and divorced reality. Michelle's dignified, thoughtful remarks (paraphrased) across the fold.
Michelle: It's (Cindy's shrill comments) not true. I'm proud of the campaign Barack's running. He's able to take complex issues, make them real for people--without being condescending.
(John? Cindy? Palin? Schmidt? Are you taking notes?).
Michelle: That's not his instinct, his campaign doesn't reflect that.
(Cindy's comments seem bitter, even clingy. Does Michelle hold a similar grudge?)
Michelle: You can't have hard feelings. We will have to work together no matter who wins. We're going to need John McCain, Cindy McCain, Democrats and Republicans...we're going to need to work together.
What a contrast.
