Hi! This is rajapi and I am feel honoured to have known all of you for the last one year. We may not always have agreed about everything, but I am glad to be on your side. I come from another country and have been fascinated by the political process in the US this year. I am a citizen and will proudly vote for Obama/Biden this year. It was a moment of intense pride when I voted for him in the primaries. I will forever remember that day. There were so many of us first time voters and it was great to see the camaraderie. During the primaries, I signed up to be a volunteer for the Obama campaign here in Texas. I recently moved with my husband for a temporary assignment and am glad to know that there are plenty of O supporters even in Houston. They were on full display during hurricane Ike and the O volunteers really stepped up to help by giving ice and letting people know where to go for generators and food etc. It was good to see some of them wearing their O hats and helping out. The power of community organizing I suppose. I am thrilled to be part of the movement.
I hope I have not made too many errors while sending out this diary. I apologize in advance.
Please accept my humble opinion on the upcoming Biden/Palin debate. I will try to make this as concise as I possibly can.
I don't really know what is going to happen tomorrow at the debate. I don't think anyone really does. We can wonder and speculate all we can, but it remains to be seen what really will occur at the debate.
I reckon both the VP nominees will perform well and it doesn't really matte what the spin will be thereafter. Some will say Biden excelled, while other will laud palin for her efforts. All that really matters is what will happen on November 4th. At this point, honestly I don't really care what Palin says or does!
However, instead of 'wondering' and 'speculating' about Palin's moves, I would think it would be productive for all of us to send Joe Biden positive vibrations and our collective goodwill so he shines and dazzles at the debate. Rather than focus on his opponent, why not shift our all our positive energy towards Joe Biden, who I am certain will do great tomorrow. I have been attracting these vibrations and sending it his way for the past few days and will keep doing it until the end of the day tomorrow. I did the same thing for the Obama/Mccain debate and I was really thrilled to see that it worked. It takes nothing really-all you have to dois keep saying how well Biden will do tomorrow. Say good, happy things and use words with positive connotations in them. Some can even use prayer as a form of sending those vibrations.
Lets not worry too much about Palin and what she will or will not do. The Obama campaign knows what it is up against. Let's leave it to them to strategize while we do what we can to help them win-donate, GOTV, canvass, knock on doors and also being positive about our prospects to win the White House. Senator Obama keeps reminding us that this election is not about him, it is about us. So, let's make it happen!
What do you think?
Thanks much for reading my diary. I look forward to your comments.
