Who would have thought that an all-Republican women conversation on Larry King Live of all shows would produce one of the videos of the week, hands down. And arguably, who knew that Michell Laxalt (and even Kathleen Parker, again) would be eligible for the realest comments of the week.
On LKL tonight, Laxalt lashed out at the McCain campaign in stunning fashion. And she certainly didn't bite her tongue, basically insinuating that the Arizona Senator is having Palin do the job HE and the men in his campaign need to do.
As the video will show, Laxalt slammed McCain and his campaign for not showing testosterone and letting Palin basically do the manly things of the campaign. My mouth literally almost collapsed to the floor when I watched how frank, honest, and just placidly angry (if ever there was an example) Laxalt was at the corrupt Alaskian Governor doing all the brunt, dirty work of the campaign while the "Good ol' boys" relegate to the background.
It is indeed a must watch, and soon to be digged.
In fact, if you get a chance, this whole entire segment, Bay Buchanan's pathetic grandstanding withstanding, is a terrific watch.
Laxalt's temerity shows how much of the "John McCoward" narrative is aggrandizing as the minutes tick.As Kos, Josh Marshall, and Juan Cole all said today after Obama talked to Gibson, McCoward's legend is growing.
Anger, and women standing up for themselves, can even make conservative women speak the truth. And speak it well indeed, like Michelle Laxalt did.
DIGG IT!
McCoward makes me think about this picture so much, that and Laxalt's comments.
