McCain is now openly talking about Ayers.  You know Rev. Wright will not be far behind.  In other words, he's trying to vet Barack Obama for us.  McCain will throw everything and the kitchen sink at Obama in a desperate effort to win this election.  More talk about character and sound judgement.  So here is my question:

Why should we trust your to vet Obama and his associations when you couldn't even take the time to vet your vice-presidential pick?  This is someone under an abuse of power investigation, after we have witnessed much of the same from Bush and Cheney.  Someone who apparently allows confidential information to be shared with people (such as her husband) who have absolutely NO business having access to it.  Someone who, at a time when we need an intelligent presence across the globe tells us that living near another country counts as foreign policy experience.  Someone who holds rallies that bring out the ugliest side in people.  Someone who accuses an opponent for being a pal to terrorists.  The list goes on and on and on.

Again - He wants to vet Obama for us when he couldn't even vet a potential VP.  McCain should not be lecturing us about judgement when he has shown an appaling lack of it in making one of the most important decisions that he will ever make.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

  •  John McCain ain't no Hillary Clinton (1+ / 0-)

Hillary had the strength to vet Obama and to vet him to his face.  She also did this with no other distractions when it seemed reasonable.  McCain is hashing up old news stories during the biggest financial crisis in our generation.  He is firing up his base to a fevered pitch but firing up us Dems and pushing more and more independents to Obama.  It all makes McCain just look small.
