This will be brief but Fox News (I know, I know!) is reporting that the World Bank has been hacked.
According to this report, the World Bank has been hacked at least a dozen times over the last 12 months. Clearly this is a major development. It is unreported what data has been compromised. My question is "Why are we only learning about this now?" If this has been going on for a year why haven't they been able to stop the hacking? I am not a fiancial person but this seems pretty significant to me. I'm sure someone with more knowledge can explain why this is important and what this means to the financial community which has enough problems.
