OK, this is trivial, I know, but I can't be the only one, so please excuse my rant.
Can I just say that the firm that runs Obama's online store, DemocraticStuff.com, really, really sucks? I placed an order over a month ago. They offer no order tracking. I've sent emails and made calls. I get absolutely no response. Not even an automated reply.
At least I got an autoresponse when I wrote to the campaign to inquire. That's something, I guess.
At this point, I have no idea if they've lost my order, if it was shipped and someone snagged my stuff, or what. I work with lots of companies that manage ecommerce operations and fulfillment. I hate to say it, but Obama's ecomm operation is, well, Bush league. For a campaign that does such an exemplary job of all things online, this is uncharacteristically lousy.
Like I said, I know this is trivial, but it's annoying. I paid my bucks, I wants my stuff. It shouldn't take six weeks to get a friggin' T-shirt and a bumper sticker!
I sure hope for all our sakes that Obama camp can run the country better than they run a simple ecommerce operation!
