The NY Times,
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/01/08/politics/08hillary.html?oref=login, just reported that Hillary's "former finance director has been indicted on charges of filing fictitious reports that misstated contributions for a Hollywood fund-raising gala for the senator." Apparently this guy Rosen understated the amount he raised by a third so she could spend more for her campaign. While it is "rare for a political campaign" aide to be indicted, it looks like Justice got to take a peek on this one.
It looks like Hillary, as Bill, is another campaign-finance disaster thats going to be bought and smeared. Hopefully this will give pause to those Dems who are gunning for Hillary '08. For someone that polarizing and that combative, she shouldn't be picked, even clean. Throw in association with a political indictment for fundraising malpractice, and she becomes a time bomb waiting to blow. We need somebody fresh and inspiring, not cranky and stale.
