I know we're not a state in contention but every vote counts. I sent this to all I know. Vote until it hurts! I went downtown today to 69 West Washington downtown - 12,000 early voters yesterday and more expected today!!! I am so glad I am a part of history here, I was one of Barack's first 100,000 donors, started my campaigning by flying down for the South Carolina Primary, and I am not stoppin' until November 5th! Sorry, I am elated...thanks to Kos for an uplifting place to go...
Score 2 for Obama - my wife Julie and I.
Hi everyone and peace to you all! I bet you're wanting this to all be over...and soon and it will be. The time to have your voice heard is now!
The best thing you can do in this election is make sure everyone you know goes and votes. Think of 5-10 people you know separate from this list and make sure they go and vote...reach out to that friend, acquaintance and check on them. This election is going to impact your life and generations to come. Imagine if everyone does this! And volunteer (if you can)...if you have any questions let me know. Oh and in Illinois if you still know people not registered, you can with the grace period registration...
What is "Grace Period" Registration?
"Grace Period" Registration is an extension of the period of time for a voter to register to vote, or to update their registration information. This "Grace Period" Registration extends registration from the normal close of registration up through the 14th day before the election. Once registered, this voter may cast a ballot during this "Grace Period" at the election authority’s office or at a location specifically designated for this purpose by the election authority, or by mail, at the discretion of the election authority.
Most of you on this list are from Illinois, but others are from other states and/or abroad. Consider this an option. If not in your state, then get ready...
