If we don't get a 60 seat filibuster proof majority in the senate!
You just know that the republicans will kick and scream to keep any major piece of legislation from passing, and will do everything they can to keep the country going in the same disastrous direction it's heading in.

And if you are perturbed that I openly ask to be recommended, ask yourself this; What is more important to you, that you see progressive policies and judges in our country, or that I violated some unspoken taboo of an online community?
Think about it, you think the republican party, a wholly owned subsidiary of Big Oil, Inc. won't fight like mad to keep us from getting off oil? It won't happen as long as money is more important that the air we breathe, the icecaps melting, or terrorists getting our money via middle east oil.
You think we'll get health care for everybody when they still have the misguided belief that for profit privatized health care works? (hey, while we're at it why don't we privatize the police and firemen, too? And the libraries, don't forget about them. And with the latest stock market news, aren't we just kicking ourselves for not privatizing social security by investing it in the stock market?)
You want out of Iraq? It just won't happen as long as the republicans whine and cry about it under the false banner of patriotism and no surrender.
And think of all the judicial appointments, cabinet positions, and fiscal policies that will be almost impossible while republicans can still obstruct the process.
Right now, Democrats stand to make gains in the senate in Virgina, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Colorado, Alaska, North Carolina, Oregon, and Minnesota. That's eight seats taken from Republicans with the momentum going in the Democrats direction.
Which means we only need one more win to ensure the policies that this country and this world desperately need right now. The democrats are within striking distance in Georgia, Kentucky, and Mississippi. BUT, they are at a disadvantage money wise to the republicans!
