I reveal the Woods’ Fund board members’ hidden connection for the first time.
In its haste to tie Barack Obama to washed up Weatherman Bill Ayers, the McCain campaign has completely overlooked the fact that there were seven other people besides Ayers in that room during that time. What subversive plot were they hatching as they met approximately twelve times over a three year period? Through diligent investigation, I’ve discovered what they were really up to. Here, I reveal the Woods’ Fund board members’ hidden connection for the first time:
- The Rev. Cynthia M. Campbell is president of McCormick Theological Seminary, a Presbyterian seminary in Chicago
- Charles N. Wheatley is on the board of Presbyterian Homes, a non-for-profit corporation in the business of providing retirement communities for the elderly.
- One of R. Eden Martin’s ancestors, John Martin, was the first Presbyterian minister ordained in Virginia in 1757. Furthermore, as director of the Aon Corp, Martin sits on the same board with Patrick Ryan, a trustee of Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center.
- Maria G Valdez is the attorney for the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund that received contributions in 1998 from The Presbyterian Medical Center.
- William C Ayers’ father, Thomas G. Ayers, served on the board of the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center.
- Laura S. Washington, is the Ida B. Wells-Barnett University Professor at DePaul University. The same school from which Minster Judith Watt of the Presbyterian Church of Palatine, IL earned her M.Ed.
- Per the Center for Budget and Tax Accountability, Jesus G Garcia’s Little Village Community Development Corp. and the First Presbyterian Church of Witt both had projects vetoed by Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.
In addition, according to his own Web site, Barack Obama is supported by Presbyterian college students as well as Presbyterian minister Rev. Parrish Jones!
Forget the alleged ties to terrorism. Now you know the truth. While they cleverly disguised their real purpose by giving grants to organizations to educate children and reduce racism, it is clear to me that the hidden agenda of the Woods Fund board was all about Presbyterianism! But keep this to yourselves. If McCain’s handlers get hold of this information, there’s no telling what they will do with it!
