I know that by now this video is old news, but I feel compelled to make my own special comment.
Mark October 16th, 2008 on your calendars as the day John McCain irrevocably sacrificed his honor.
My open letter to McCain, and all of you, below the fold...
Dear John McCain,
Spare me the crocodile tears about John Lewis, Mr. McCain, as you now have no defense from the charge of stoking the fires of hatred. You have completely disgraced both your legacy and the office to which you aspire to. If this doesn't disqualify you from higher office then it will be a sad commentary on the gullibility of the American people. That you would allow your name to put your name to something so deceptive and so offensive, speaks volumes about your character, or more accurately, your utter lack thereof. Barack Obama's security now rests squarely on your shoulders.
This, and the risk that you have exposed your country to by choosing Sarah Palin to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, will follow you to your grave and far beyond.
Regards,
Pragmatic Left
To My Fellow Kossaks -
If you believe there is no place for this in a civilized democracy, then make sure the world knows the real John McCain.
This round of robo-calls will be his undoing. Do not let this robo-call be the sole provenance of RNC micro-targeted bigots and fools willing to accept at face value that "Barack Obama worked with a terrorist."
I implore you to blast this from the rooftops, so that the world will learn of John McCain.
With love of country,
Pragmatic Left
(PS: Did anyone see Letterman just now call out McCain on Palin's statements and the G. Gordon Liddy. I have never seen a better example of deer in headlights... Please post the video if you find it.)
