This needs to be emphasized DAILY:
UPDATE: It has been brought to my attention that recording polling/voting via cell phones is illegal in some areas. That, alone, seems to contradict the transparency of the voting process, but if that's the case in your area, make sure you receive a receipt of your vote (if voting electronically).
And, it goes without saying that one should only bring out the cell phone if one witnesses something inappropriate. Don't bring attention to yourself by wearing candidate paraphernalia or blatantly recording others. Use discretion.
Take your cell phone with you when you vote. Make sure your batteries are fully charged. Take video of any hinky activity you witness in the line. And, definitely take video of your vote.
If all goes well, you can erase, but if it doesn't, you have documentation to make your case.
I know this is a short diary, but I'm not seeing this 'obvious' information as a constant blurb below the Daily Kos banner. It should be there from now until November 4.
We now have the technology to prove/dispute electronic voting irregularities. We must use it!!
