Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin arrived at the Budweiser Events Center at about 1:15 p.m. today, greeted by a raucous crowd of about 5,000. ...
The crowd was still flowing in as the event began, with about 500 seats still open.
Update: The Budweiser Events Center at the Ranch, located in Loveland, Colorado, is a 7,200 seat multi-purpose venue, which opened in September 2003, and is home to the Colorado Eagles of the Central Hockey League and the Colorado ICE of the United Indoor Football League.
More after the fold.
Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, R-Colo., spoke after Marostica.
"We have a lot in common with Alaska," Musgrave said. "Beautiful mountains, abundant resources and strong women."
Musgrave also noted that she and Palin, the Alaskan governor, have been targeted by the environmental group Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund.
How about beautiful mountains, abundant resources and strong women who want to trash them.

This was spun as:
The number of unaffiliated voters has been growing for some years, said Kirk Brush, chairman of the Larimer County Republican Party, showing dissatisfaction among the electorate with both major parties.
Yeah, right. What local Republicans are telling each other that this cycle was going to be particularly difficult using phrases such as "rebuilding year".
