Palin believes in states' rights... Completely... And with no wavering...
...Except, in some cases.
Gov. Sarah Palin is a big-government liberal! She wants to ban gay marriage on a FEDERAL level.
Did you read that?!
She wants a federal law that would take away a state's option to allow or not allow gay marriage.
That's "big government," in my book.
Yet again, Gov. Palin demonstrates she wants a smaller federal government, except when the issues at hand question or oppose her own beliefs. How can a person who considers herself a feminist, support such federal mandates limiting your life choices, such as health care, marriage, education?
Gov. Palin represents perfectly the hypocrisy of the GOP. Conservatives love to argue for the local governments, the state governments--when it is convenient.
I am asking you, conservatives with stronger morals than myself, when is the federal government good? When is it not? At what point do you support local government? When do you support the large federal government? I am completely confused.
