Yesterday, many of us pounced on the report by New York Observer that Robin Hayes, NC-08 claimed Liberals hate real Americans during a warmup act before a McCain rally in front of a home town crowd in Concord, NC.  Once Ryan Grim from Politico picked it up and the story looked like it had legs, Hayes' spokeswoman from his congressional office, Amanda Little, made the claim that Hayes absolutely denied saying that about Liberals.

Ryan at The Crypt put the word out and did what professional journalists do - he looked for proof that Hayes either did or did not make the comments that reporter Jason Horowitz absolutely confirms he heard Robin Hayes say the words he reported as he was taking notes as he said them.

The evidence is all in. [This links to The Crypt where Ryan has audio of Hayes' remarks.]  Thanks to Ryan for doing the heavy lifting on this and for not settling for the lies told by Robin Hayes and his federal employee, Amanda Little.

Robin Hayes has been lying about Larry Kissell, his character and where he stands on issues.  Larry needs help fighting back against the lies.  This is one example of how quickly and easily Robin Hayes lies.  If he will lie this easily on something that can be checked against video and audio, imagine how quickly he'll lie to the voters when he knows they will have limited access to information that can prove him wrong.

The man lies through his teeth.  Here's a video made out of the audio.  Enjoy!

Please help Larry Kissell.  I'm not sure Hayes out Bachmanned Michele Bachmann, but if you look at the entirety of his outlandish comments over time and the lies he tells to the voters he comes pretty darned close.

Again, audio of Hayes' remarks are at The Crypt.  I'll update this diary with audio and video as soon as I have it.

Please give to Larry.

The crowd was estimated at 7000.  Do you think we can drum up $1 for every person listening to Hayes spew hate?  How about $10 per person?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
