It's like being in hell. The smell of sewage seeps up from the sidewalks downtown and in the Highlands area (the "hipster" part). Yuck. Why can't our leaders clean this shit up? It can't be healthy.
WatermelonGrower SEZ: Ann Hedonia, put political pleasure back in your life, Support two excellent east-central Indiana Democratic Congressional candidates who know Indiana's environment has been trashed.
Mary Etta Ruley http://maryettaruley.com/ against the ridiculous Dan Burton (IN05 -- Huntington-Peru-Kokomo-Tipton-Noblesville-Carmel-Greenfield-Shelbyville). Being endorsed by the conservative Indianapolis Star helps her too!
Barry Welsh http://barrywelsh.org/... can retire ultra-conservative Mike Pence, who has mis-represented IN-06 (Anderson, Muncie, New Castle, Richmond, Connersville + the counties along the old Levi Coffin of Fountain City anti-slavery Underground Railroad route from Cincinnati suburbs to the south edge of Fort Wayne).
Two other Democratic Congressional candidates, helped by the surge of voter turnout produced by the wonderful Obama effort in Indiana, have good shots at giving incumbent Republican Congressmen unplanned retiremens, and also merit your good wishes (but probably have enough funds): Nels Ackerson, a former Birch Bayh staffer and succesful lawyer, whom the cowardly Steve Buyer fears debating even though he is a former military persecutor (IN04 -- along the old Monon Railroad line from Monon in White County south through Lafayette (my home town, with lots of Purdue students out on the streets for the Dems), Crawfordsville, Greencastle, and Bedford), and Mike Montagano (now strongly backed by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee) against Mark Souder (IN03 - Fort Wayne - northeastern Indiana).
