Sarah Palin wants to change the United States Constitution on Vice president 's role in the U.S senate. When a third grader asked her a question about the vice president 's role in the U.S congress she answered the question like a 2nd grader. America must look at this Palin 's Ignorance and her understanding of the U.S constitution very hard who wants to be the Vice President of the United States of America. McCain 's used to be connected to Acorn in the past. Bill Clinton Campaigned for Obama on monday and Tuesday. Obama is still leading in the national polls.
Asked by a third-grader what a vice president does, Republican candidate Sarah Palin responded that the vice president is the president's "team mate" but also "runs the Senate" and "can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes."
While aimed at a typical 8-year-old, Palin's explanations oversimplify the Constitution's definition of the duties of the vice president and don't match the office's traditional role in Senate activities.
The vice president's main duty is to replace the president if the president dies, resigns, is removed from office or can no longer carry out his or her duties for other reasons. The Constitution names the vice president as the president of the Senate but allows the vice president to cast a vote only to break a tie.

Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.
The charges included costs for hotel and commercial flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.
In all, Palin has charged the state $21,012 for her three daughters' 64 one-way and 12 round-trip commercial flights since she took office in December 2006. She also has charged the state for hotel rooms for the girls.

ACORN seems unhappy in its new role as a villain, cast by John McCain's campaign and others on the right as being part of a constellation of shadowy leftists behind Barack Obama’s throne.
Maybe the McCain camp's call for an investigation of ties between the group and the Obama campaign was the last straw, because on Monday ACORN started reminding people that as recently as March 2006 McCain himself appeared at an event the group sponsored. At the time, the Republican nominee was still campaigning for the immigration reform deal that nearly killed his presidential hopes.
Michelle Malkin -- who is, unsurprisingly, angry about the connection -- has a press release promoting the event, while Politico's Ben Smith has a photo of McCain smiling at a room full of ACORN volunteers (visible, Smith says, in other pictures), with a statement by the group’s chief organizer:

Former President Bill Clinton stumped for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama in the St. Louis area Monday, speaking to a crowd of 6,000 at nearby Kirkwood High School as a part of the Obama campaign’s "Change We Need" rally series.
"The presidential election is the world’s greatest job interview," Clinton said.
Earlier in the day, Clinton appeared at three rallies across Nevada. He and his wife Hillary Clinton, the former Democratic presidential contender and the junior senator from New York, have been travelling across the country on the stump for Obama.

Democrat Barack Obama focused on the ailing economy in Florida on Tuesday, meeting with a panel of advisers and accusing Republican rival John McCain of fumbling his response to the financial crisis.
At a gathering that included former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker, Google chief executive Eric Schmidt and a group of key swing-state governors, Obama again linked McCain with the policies of President George W. Bush.
"Instead of common-sense solutions, month after month, they've offered little more than willful ignorance, wishful thinking and outdated ideology," Obama told supporters in the key swing state of Florida before a public chat with the panel at his "economic summit."

Barack Obama widened his lead over John McCain two weeks before Election Day, with two national polls showing voters favor the Democrat by at least 10 points.
Obama holds a 14 point lead over Republican presidential nominee McCain in a Pew Research Center poll released today. The survey, taken from Oct. 16-19, shows Obama supported by 52 percent of registered voters and McCain backed by 38 percent. In late September, the Pew poll showed Obama with a 7 percentage point lead.

With some polls showing him opening a double-digit lead, Democrat Barack Obama pressed his assault on Republican John McCain's economic proposals while also introducing national security differences into the mix in the campaign's final stretch.
The endorsement over the weekend of Obama by longtime Republican Colin Powell, the former secretary of state under President George W. Bush, gives the Democrat an opening to go on the offensive on foreign affairs.
The topic is generally considered his weakest against McCain, but Powell's backing undercut McCain's perceived dominance.
