John Shadegg received more than $52,500 in 48 hours from GOP leadership and other special interest political action committees in his most recent Oct. 21 FEC report.
This is the second 48-hour filing of more than $50,000 this week in special interest rescue money Shadegg has accepted.
From my campaign manager, Andrew Eldredge-Martin: "Shadegg retired this spring until he was convinced by his leadership to get back in the race and once again they are bailing him out. Maybe this is what they promised him - lots of money when he pushed the panic button. You'd think he would get something like this from his party leadership after voting with them 98 percent of the time."
This rush of money comes days after Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) began making phone calls to help Shadegg with fundraising. ("GOP Rushes to Shadegg's Aid," PolitickerAZ.com)
