I'm proud to share these three new Local Voices commercials, one each for Missouri, Ohio & Nevada. I feel these are the most powerful pieces yet, and hope you feel the same.
First is Darrell Hanschen of Jackson, MO. Darrell is a pharmacist who shares his story of customers asking him what pills they can do without when faced with a monthly bill that exceeds their ability to pay for medicines, with their lives at stake. He implores voters to get someone in the Whitehouse who cares about these people:
Second is Korean War Vet Barclay Hastings of Columbus, Ohio. Barclay voted for John McCain in 2000, but in his words "wouldn't do that again." He asks us to support our Iraqi vets by bringing them home:
Third is Walt, a young financial consultant living in Washoe County, Nevada is a lifelong republican who voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004 and is now an active supporter of Obama. He sees the recent Republican fiscal irresponsibility through the eyes of one who understands business. His clarity about the hot-button issues of Yucca Mtn. nuclear dump site, Obama's green energy plan and the economy are nothing less than inspiring:
We also have Sharon Houston, a lifelong Republican in Carthage, MO who is voting for Obama, because she believes in him & is sick & tired of the lies & corruption of the Republican Party:
Please DIGG this!
I don't want to sound an emergency alarm, but we're in the home stretch & these ads speak to the issues, values & localities of three important battleground states. We need your help. Please help us get these on the air by contributing what you can. You can view all of our projects on our website and learn more about the local voices project, watch more videos & read about the amazing directors donating their time to this effort at our dedicated Local Voices for Obama site.
Please share these videos with any friends & supporters of Obama you know!
Thank you for all that you do,
