I understand that both of those are almost certainly going for McCain, but neither Utah nor Idaho have been polled for more than a month and Arizona hasn't been polled for over two weeks.

Utah and Idaho are odd enough, but why are pollsters ignoring McCain's home state? Isn't it sort of important to cover the candidate's home state? I am not trying to sound conspiratorial, I am just very confused. Is it normal to totally ignore states for a month so close to the election?
