McCain and his failed campaign are running their last mile peddling fear - sad. As opposed to ending his campaign with a sense of dignity, McCain throws the last grenade and hope it hits a valuable target.
We hear Sen. Joe Biden's words, and we see tanks, ships, marching terrorists, Chavez, Ahmadinejad -- then a cut to black: "It doesn't have to happen. Vote McCain." (It's 3 am, and we think we're meant to smell daisies.)
There's not far to go beyond this -- and plenty of questions about whether this is too late, if not too little, or too irrelevant (Dow futures down 550 points Friday morning).

It is just disgraceful that McCain cannot motivate people to vote for him because of his message or what he wants to offer the country. No, he has to use fearmongering. I truly hope that after this ad airs, Obama's poll numbers go up even higher. It would send a loud message that this crap no longer is effective.
Huffington Post also reports that Focus on the Family (James Dobson) is sending out mailers that also peddle fear.
Terrorist strikes on four American cities. Russia rolling into Eastern Europe. Israel hit by a nuclear bomb. Gay marriage in every state. The end of the Boy Scouts.
All are plausible scenarios if Democrat Barack Obama is elected president, according to a new addition to the campaign conversation called "Letter from 2012 in Obama's America," produced by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family Action.

November 4th cannot get here soon enough.
