Update: And tonight's winner is Rick Noriega, our Senate candidate from Texas, fighting to oust Box Turtle Cornyn! Let's all meet here tomorrow night at 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT with our dancin' shoes on, a beer at our side, some good music on and our credit cards handy to hang out and hang loose with our fellow Kossacks while we do our part to help turn Texas blue! Yee-haw!

Which Orange to Blue candidate will be the recipient of tomorrow night's Hell to Pay fundraiser?
Now's the time to vote! And while you're looking over the candidates on the Orange to Blue page, don't forget ... you can donate early to your favorite candidate!
Nominees this week are:
- Joe Garcia, FL-25. Facing off against Mario Diaz-Balart, Garcia this week took a hit from one of the dirtiest campaign ads this cycle, one that makes it appear that he's under FBI investigation, when in fact Enron's CEO is the subject. This is the culmination of months of trying to tie Garcia to Enron, a move that has already been thoroughly debunked.
- Dennis Shulman, NJ-05. Like Garcia, Shulman was the target of an all-out lying TV ad approved by opponent Scott Garrett. Horrible mailers full of smears are hitting the district as well. In the words of our own brownsox: In just one ad, they manage to tie Shulman to terrorists, Cindy Sheehan, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and tax hikes...Garrett has overtly criticized Shulman, who is not only Jewish but an ordained rabbi, for being "soft on Israel", and has also sent out a mailer tying Shulman to Hamas. In yesterday's debate, Garrett tried once again to smear Shulman with Hamas and Iran
- Eric Massa, NY-29. Okay, this smear by opponent Randy Kuhl is short, sweet and already infamous: I firmly believe the Democratic majority wants the American public to suffer and to hurt so that they can make some political gains at election time and I think that's wrong.
- Jim Martin, GA-Sen. brdc4 nominates:
We all know Saxby Chambliss is incredibly dishonorable. We all remember what he did to war hero Max Cleland.
Now look at this new ad from Saxby Chambliss that insinuates that Jim Martin somehow was responsible for killing kids. If you listen closely, you'll realize that it doesn't even bother to change the ominous background music from his smear of Max Cleland.
Jim Martin is so close to overtaking Saxby. The latest poll has Martin down by only two.
- Rick Noreiga, TX-Sen. Nominated by arcanethoughts, with a whole host of boo-yah seconds. Incumbent Jon Cornyn's been playing nasty all along, but really went over the top with this ad, trying to scare Texas to death with the specter of--are you ready for it?--Howard Dean!
- Bob Lord, AZ-03. Nominated by DrewEM and seconded by sardonyx, because of the shifty story of opponent John Shadegg's campaign manager losing the campaign credit card at a Democratic Party office. What a tangled web was woven there, my friends.
- Judy Baker, MO-09. Her campaign, which has interacted as part of the Daily Kos community for weeks, asks her to be considered because opponent Blaine Luetkemeyer has been using his daughter to call Judy Baker a liar and then a voice over to call her a socialist. Additionally, Luetkemeyer had Dick Cheney come to town for a fundraiser this past week.
