That is the claim in an article posted at the National Review. You see, there is something going on deeply in women's self conscience to make them lash out at Governor Palin. There isn't any rational reason to oppose her at all. They have had abortions and they feel guilty according to the article entitled "The Palin Trig-ger".
Some of the very personal and often uncharitable criticism of vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin and her family may have a relationship to the collective grief, shame, and guilt from personal involvement in the abortion of an unborn child.
That's right women. You don't really dislike Sarah Palin's views on health care, economics, fundamentalism, the environment. You actually hate yourself.
When you see Sarah Palin, with her down syndrome child Trig, you really loathe yourself, and in your irrational state, you just lash out at her when the truth is that you are suffering from post abortion hysteria.
Governor Palin has been clear that, despite the challenges Trig’s condition will present, she and her husband Todd joyfully celebrate the gift of this precious life to their family. But this very heartfelt, natural expression of love may be striking at a deeply repressed and painful wound in our culture.
Seeing the Palin family, in a very visible public forum, with an uncompromising and public pro life philosophy arouses deeply repressed feelings in post abortive parents, as well as media members, counselors, health care professionals, politicians and others who promote abortion rights, especially the abortion of children with challenges such as Down Syndrome. These powerful repressed feelings of grief, guilt and shame can be deflected from the source of the wound (i.e., abortion) and projected onto an often uncharitable focus upon the trigger of these painful emotions...the Palin family.
You also are subconsciously attacking chastity programs because Bristol is a pregnant 17 year old who chose to have her baby with the baby daddy, and they are getting married in December. Honest! You are experiencing severe psychosis. That could be the only possible reason that you think Gov Palin is dangerous. She doesn't have a problem, you do!
The author of this piece (of shit) is Kevin Burke. He knows of what he speaks. He runs a "recovery program" for women who have used their constitutionally mandated choice not to bring a child into this world.
Perhaps if you go through his therapy, you will realize that McCain/Palin is a wonderful ticket for leadership that you are rejecting due to your unresolved mental issues. There is simply no rational reason to reject them otherwise. You must be on the rag or something too.
