It's almost a week late, but I have a job and other stuff like family and getting out the vote, but here is my response to the jackasses on the right who said Colin Powell's endorsement of Barack Obama was "all about race."
There are more, of course, but there's only so much time I can dedicate to this.
Christopher Buckley is a prominent Republican conservative writer (who has very funny books everyone should read) who worked for George Bush the first and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
Arne Carlson is the former Republican Governor of Minnesota for much of the 1990s, and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
Lincoln Chafee is a former Republican Senator from Rhode Island (he has since gone Independent) and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
Susan Eisenhower is the granddaughter of Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower (he was also a general or something) as well as a high-powered international security consultant and prominent lifelong Republican herself, and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. Her endorsement was all about race.
Charles Fried is a prominent conservative legal scholar who served as George Bush the First's United States Solicitor General for four years, and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
Wayne Gilchrest is currently a Republican Congressman from Maryland, and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
Scott McClellan is, well, the liar who helped George Bush sell the Iraq War, Patriot Act, idiotic tax cuts for the rich, etc., etc., etc., etc., and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
Richard Riordan is the former Republican Mayor of Los Angelos, and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
William Weld is the former Republican Governor of Massachussets (and also wrote a funny book called Mackerel by Moonlight) and endorsed Barack Obama for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
Jim Whitaker is the Republcan Mayor of Fairbanks, Alaska and endorsed Barack Obama (before Palin was picked, but he sticks by it) for President of the United States. His endorsement was all about race.
The endorsements are all about race – the Presidential Race.
