Mathew Limon, the gay man at the heart of a recent Kansas ruling striking down a law punished gay statutory rape harsher than for heterosexuals has been released. The state may appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, but in the mean time a judge ordered Limon released from jail, with conditions. He must live with his aunt and uncle, work on their farm and attend church every Sunday.
A judge orders somebody to attend church as part of his terms of release. What's next, a homosexual is arrested for any crime and the judge orders him or her to attend Exodus meetings to be released on bail?
