With 9 days left until Election Day, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama got a boost to his Georgia campaign today when he picked up the endorsements of the Macon Telegraph and the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.
From health care to tax policy to dealing with the reprobates of the world, Sen. Obama's ideas are superior to those of Sen. McCain, whose judgment has been rightly called into question. In the words of former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Obama has "style and substance." He is a living example that there is a new day dawning in the world, and he will make the case that, as usual, America will lead the way. We endorse Sen. Barack Obama.

.
We believe Barack Obama is the right man to change our nation’s direction.
We believe he has the intelligence and vision to lead us through these troubled times.
For these reasons the Ledger-Enquirer endorses Barack Obama for the presidency of the United States of America.
